The short version

A cafe that
kept a kitchen.

Diamond Hills, off Lumbini Avenue. Front of house pulls espresso and Irani chai from midday. Behind it, a kitchen that runs North Indian gravies, South Indian breakfast, a Sichuan wok and dum biryani — all through the same pass.

Which is why the same table gets a flat white at four and a mutton biryani at nine, and nobody blinks.
